DELEGATION OF INQUIRY PARTY RETURNS TO WELLINGTON (Peb United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 9. The Tasmanian Government delegatlon. comprising the State Treasurer (Mr Edmund Dwyer-Gray). Mr J. Macdonald. M.L.C., honorary Minister, and the Treasurer’s private secretary (Mr J. Quinn) returned to Wellington by motor car this evening from a visit to Auckland. Rotorua, and New Plymouth. The delegation, which is on a special mission of investigation of, the New Zealand Government’s financial policy, met the Prime Minister (Mr Savage) and the Minister of Finance (Mr Nash) last week. The visitors will meet other members of the Ministry this week. In an interview this evening Mr Dwyer-Gray said he had visited Rotorua over 50 years agg. Because of that, his colleagues had been more astonished than he had been on this occasion by what was to be seen there. They had been fortunate to see one of the best geysers in action.
