STRIKERS IN RANGOON

LONG MARCH FROM INLAND THOUSAND OIL WORKERS RANGOON, Jan. 7. (Received Jan. 8, at 10 p.m.) One thousand strikers from an oilfield inland, after a march of 375 miles lasting five weeks, encamped on the outskirts of the city. They will present their grievances to the Government. Troops and police are ready for an emergency. Rangoon is already upset by strikes among students against Government restrictions.
