THE RECENT REGULATIONS EFFECTIVE CHECK IMPOSED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 26. The New Zealand Government's recent regulations had proved most effective in preventing the flight of capital to Australia, said Mr H. R. Nettheim, a Sydney stockbroker, who arrived at Wellington by the Awatea to-day. The regulations had reduced the trading in stocks between Australia and New Zealand almost to vanishing point. Mr Nettheim said he thought that New Zealand visitors to Australte should not have much difficulty in exchanging a limited number of New Zealand pound notes. They wouldbe foolish, he thought, to accept as little as 14s 3d as some were reported to have done. The valuf should be about par.
