SPECIAL CROSSES
FOR GERMAN MOTHERS GIFT FROM HERR HITLER BERLIN, Dec. 24. (Received Dec. 26, at 6.30 p.m.) Herr Hess, broadcasting to Germans throughout the world professed profound gratitude to God for giving Herr Hitler to Germany, visibly blessing the way he took in 1938, and notably ensuring the return of Austria and the Sudetenland and the creation of Germany s western wall to protect her people and cultural values. A surprize Christmas gift from Herr Hitler will be bronze crosses inscribed: " The child ennobles the mother," to be awarded on Mothers' Day. to mothers of four or five children, silver crosses for six or seven and gold for eight or more.
