FOVEAUX STRAIT BEDS OPENING ON FEBRUARY 15 (Pun United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 21. Under the Salt Water Fisheries Regulations, issued with the Gazette, the opening of the season for Foveaux Strait oysters is fixed for February 15 instead of February 1, as formerly. Another section of the regulations closes the toheroa beds on the beach between Otaki and Waikanae Rivers. Wellington, until January 15.
