CHRISTMAS SHOOT The final shoot of the year was held on the Dunedin Gun Club's grounds on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members, and find weather prevailed. The main event, a 15 bird handicap, resulted in a draw, R. McDonald (19yds) dnd J. B. Craigi (12yds) both registering possibles. Other scores, were as follows: G. E. Turner (19yds), E. P. Graham (20yds), S. F. Aburn (19yds), L. E. Wilson (12yds), R. Bruce (17yds), and T. B. McKinlay (16yds) 14; W. R. Morland (13yds) 12; P. E. Wood (12yds), R. Maxwell (11yds),,W. J. Templeton (12yds) A. A. Fairbairn (11yds) 11. ; , This was the last match for the aggregate trophy, which is given for the highest percentage of beaks in', nine; out of 11 programme matches. The trophy was won by G. E. Turner, with 95 per cent. R. Bruce was second with 93J per cent., and S. F. Aburn third with 93 per cent. The first barrel aggregate went to E. P. Graham, with 85 per cent, of breaks with the first barrel. S. F. Aburn (84 per cent.) was second, and R. Bruce (83 per cent.) third. In the second match of the day E. P, Graham, J. K. Begg, I. B. Craigie,. P. E. Wood, and W. Morland all registered possibles (nine birds). They were followed by G. E. Turner. R. McDonald. W. R. Morland, L. E/ Wilson, and N. Callaghan 8; R. Bruce and T. B. McKinlay 7. The last match, a nine bird handicap, was won by J. K. Begg, who wac the only competitor to break nine birds. The rest of the scores were as follows:—S. F. Aburn, W. R. Morland L. E.
