AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS

MR D. REESE MEETS FAMOUS PLAYERS .. BRADMAN KEEN TO VISIT DOMINION (Per United Press. Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 28. Mr Dan Reese returned from Australia by the Awatea. While in the Commonwealth he looked up a number of former and present cricketers, including Bradman. who, he said, was very keen to visit New Zealand. He had recovered well from the injury suffered in England. Mr Reese spent some time with Warwick Armstrong. M. A. Noble and Clem Hill. Armstrong now weighs 21 stone. but actually is no heavier than when he was playing in 1921. No wonder he frightened the batsmen, said Mr Reese, who added that Armstrong was keeping very well. Mr Reese visited Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. He was the representative of the West Coast Sawmillers Association at a timber congress in Melbourne.
