There was merit even in defeat, and Wild Chase should not be overlooked at Trentham.

Positano, the sire of the grand-dam of Fearless Imp was got by Positano, the sire of four Melbourne Cup winners and the dams of two more. The next dam was got by Trenton, who was twice placed in the Melbourne Cup. Fearless Imp was got by Heroic.
