R. AND G. CRICKET CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of Ross and Glendining’s Cricket Club was held on Tuesday evening, Mr J. Preston occupying the chair. Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet the chairman mentioned that the team did not hold a high position m the 4. section at the completion of the competition but a good sporting spirit had prevailed throughout the season. The election ,of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr T. Ross; president,. Mr J R. Luff: vice-presidents—Messrs A. Jeavons, S. Glendining, J. H. Luff: secretary and treasurer, Mr C. B Fay; auditor, Mr L. Prestotn; coach, Mr J. Goodmanson; scorer. Mr L. Palmer committee—Messrs I. Craig, C. Tarleton. A. Clark, G. Bell, F. Willers; delegates to league, G. Bell and C. B Fay. It was decided to enter the League Competition and to start the season on October 1.
