THE FA. TROPHY NO CHALLENGE FROM WELLINGTON (Special to Daily Times) . WELLINGTON. Sept. 7. The possibility of an F.A. Trophy match against Otago this season was briefly discussed at to-night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association. It was agreed that because of the lateness of the season it was not practicable to challenge Otago. , Members suggested .travelling to Auckland on either September 24 or October 1 to play for the Frank Campbell Rose Bowl. The secretary (Mr W. J. Arcus) was instructed to communicate with Auckland to stipulate that if the Wellington team made the trip it should be accommodated at an hotel and not billeted because of the difficulty of assembling players and keeping them together
