AGREEMENT ON NEW AWARD LITTLE CHANGE IN TERMS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 7. An agreement was reached in Conciliation Council tb-day in the insurance workers’ Dominion dispute. The new award will closely follow the old one. It applies to employees earning up to £450 a year. The wages rates range from £29 in the first six months to £340 in the fourteenth year for. males, and to £l7O in the seventh year for females. For female clerks in life office industrial departments , the commencing salary is £l9 10s at under 17 ranging to £l7O in the eighth year, the same as in the clerical workers award. The wages come into effect on October 1. The hours are 37& a week, to be worked from Monday to Friday.
