FORESTRY COMMISSION
CREATING NATIONAL ASSET IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, July 1. The House of Commons discussed the work of the Forestry Commission. Captain Euan Wallace, in moving a vote of £BOO,OOO, said the commission had now 215 forest units containing over 1,000,000 acres, of which 377,000 acres were under wood. The commission was building up a national asset of immense value.
