“SPRING TIDE ”

Pleasant comedy is the keynote of “ Spring Tide, ” by George Billam and J. B. Priestley, which the Dunedin Repertory Society will produce as its twenty-first major production at His Majesty’s Theatre, commencing on Wednesday, for a season c»f four nights. J. B. Priestley is in the front rank of contemporary dramatists, and he it is who provides the amusing and often sophisticated twists to the hilarious situations created by George Billam. The Repertory Society has given careful attention to the selection of the cast which includes a number of names well known in amateur dramatic circles. Mrs John Hamer, Mrs John Faulks, Misses Lydia Henderson. Kathleen Napier and Marjorie Mumford, Messrs Douglas Skene, Roland Watson, Bernard, Sullivan, John Hayward, Clement Howell, Maurice Kershaw, Ernest Fish and H. Westwood are all taking part, and the play will be produced by Mr W. Russell-Wood.
