WINTER STAKES TO MATORU CHAT WINS HACK CUP (Per United Press Association) MARTON, July 2. The Marton Jockey Club’s winter meeting was held in beautiful weather on Saturday, after a period of unsettled conditions. The track was on the heavy side. The attendance was large and the totalisator returns were £10,303 10s, against £6696 in 1936. There was no meeting last year. Following are the results:— MAIDEN PLATE, Of £IOO.
