MILLER’S FLAT
The Weather Miller’s Flat is enjoying early winter conditions. Fine, sunny days, with a absence of wind and with some frosts at night, are being experienced. There is a scarcity of root crops, but should a mild winter lie experienced stock should come through well. Trucking Yards The Railways Department is remodelling the sheep yards at the Miller’s Flat station. .As a considerable volume of fat stock is handled here, the remodelled yards will be much appreciated by the farming community t Rugby Football To-morrow Miller’s Flat will meet Roxburgh, at Roxburgh, and Coal Creek will meet Ettrick at Ettrick in continuation of the local sub-union’s competition. Hockey players will hold a further series of trials at Roxburgh.
