Miniature Rifle Shooting The weekly shoot of the ScaclilT Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday night, when the club was visited by three members of the O.M.R.A. Executive—Messrs Gamble. G. H. Smith, and Bradley. Various hints were given to members, and as a result the evening’s shooting was improved. M. Gale carried off the men’s rifle button with 77, while three members shot off for the men’s handicap button, which was won by W. Murray. The following were the scores;—M. Gale, 77—6—80; W. Murray, 76—3—80; J. Farmer, 75—4—79; R. Sprague, 754 —79; W. Maskell, 74—10—80: A. O’Hara. 74—6—80; R. Thornes. 73—12 —80; D. Chamberlain, 72—12—80; Miss M. Edwards, 71—4—75; S. Nicolson, 71 — 5 —76; A. Nicolson. 70—8—78; W. Singleton, 69—4—73; W. Wilson, 69 7 —76; Miss A. Lothian, 68 —10—78; Miss Mabel Reid. 65—12—77; S. Ballingall, 65—10—75; W. Orange, 65—10—75; F. Alderton, 65—7—72: Miss I. Singleton, 60—8—68. The average for the first 10 marksmen was 73.7.
