JERVOIS HANDICAP DIVISIONS (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 30. Owing to the large number of acceptors for the Jervois Handicap on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting, the event has been divided. As this makes eight races, the divisions will be treated as separate events, the totalisator being open on each. The stake has been increased, and £275 allotted to each division- . „ ~ , The first division is as follows; Melvanui, Barrister, Dragon Moth, General Ruse, Young Paddon, Alyth, Disturbed, El Meynell, Bronze Wing, Salesman, Aymon. Master Appellant, Rajana. Love Parade, Topeotu, Huntsman s Chorus. , .. . The following are in the second division:—Loombination. Prival, Ohmaha, Gay Sister, Pirate King, Vaalso, Silver Glow, Mai de Mer, School Song, Captain Bruce, Hessketoon, Bonny Belle, Fleur d’Or, Electric Spear. Summary.
