EMPIRE DAY

ROYAL COMMAND CONCERT THEIR MAJESTIES AT ALBERT HALL (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, May 25. (Received May 26, at 5.5 p.m.) As part of the Empire Day celebrations yesterday a Royal command concert was given in Albert Hall, London, in the presence of their Majesties. Nearly 2000 singers and players from different parts of the country contributed to a representative programme of British music.

An Empire Day dinner, given by Empire societies, was attended by the Duke of Kent.
