GENERAL ELECTION
THE ROTORUA ELECTORATE NATIONAL PARTY CANDIDATE (Per United Press Association) ROTORUA. May 18. Mr H. W. Nixon, at present editor of the Waikato Times, Hamilton, was selected to-day by a representative meeting of delegates of the National Party to represent that party in the Rotorua electorate at the forthcoming general election. The only other candidate so far in the field is the sitting Labour member, Mr A. F. Moncur. Mr Nixon has had an extensive journalistic experience on the Christchurch Star, the Lyttelton Times, and th« Christchurch Star-Sun. '
