LORD NUFFIELD’S GIFTS
TWO MORE ANNOUNCED
LONDON, May 13,
Lord Nuffield has given £20,000 to Banbury Hospital and £50,000 to complete the fund necessary to cover the cost of a suitable building for the London University Students’ Union Society, in accordance with the conditions laid down by the National Fitness Council and the University Grants Committee, which had given grants of £ 25,000 and £ 35,000 respectively.
