THE ITALIAN ANNEXATION RECOGNITION BY FINLAND HELSINKI, May 13. Finland has recognised the Italian annexation of Abyssinia. THE GENEVA DEBATE POSITION ‘‘AS YOU WERE” LONDON, May 13. The Manchester Guardian’s Geneva correspondent reports that the Abyssinian position remains exactly where it was. “Abyssinia is still a member of the League, and it will be difficult for the secretariat to decline Haile Sellassie’s cheque. The Credentials Committee faces an awkward decision for the September as* sembly.” NEW ZEALAND’S VIEWS CANBERRA, May 15. (Received May 15, at 11 p.m.) Interviewed here, Mr Lee Martin told a Sun representative that the views expressed by Mr Jordan at the League were the views of the New Zealand Government. Mr Martin fully concurred with Mr Jordan.
