Collie Dog Trials The following are the results of the collie clog trials held at Mount Mossing for which 54 envies were received:— Long Pull (time limit, seven minutes; total points. 501— M. Stevens’s. Snow (35 points) 1. J. Glass’s Scot (34J points) 2, D. Ross’s Guide (34 points) 3, A, Coats’s Lloyd (31 i points) 4. E. Glass’s Tip <3l points) 5. D. Simpson’s Fan and G. Askin’s Bon drew for the maiden prize with 30. points each. Huntaway dime, eight minutes: total points 50).—E. Glass’s Bob (43 points) 1. G, Askin's Lad (35). points) 2, J, Marlin’s Watch (33 points) 3, M. A. Fraser’s Bond (30i points) 4, !. Macaulay’s Laddie <2Bl points) 5, E. Glass's Bob, with 43 points, won the maiden. Driving and Yarding (time limit eight minutes; total points 35).—J. Martin's Don (27i points) 1. J. Glass’s Scot (26 points) 2, W, Calherwood’s Tip (244 points) 3, R. Davie's Maid (24 points) 4, I. Macaulay’s Nell (23J points) 5. H. Catherwood's Tip won the maiden prize. Trophies for the best all-round dog and one for most points in open events were won by I. Macaulay's Laddi- and E. Glass’s entry.
