A BOXING FIASCO

BOUT LASTS ONE ROUND RICHARDS BEATS ACTIS SYDNEY, May 12. (Received May 13, at 1.15 a.m.) The American light heavy-weight boxer Ray Actis (11.11), who was making his debut at the Sports Ground to-night in a 12-round bout against the Australian champion, Ron l Richards (12.0), lasted barely one round. Richards sent in a left and a right, followed by an uppercut, and the American Went down for the full count in the first round. ThS contest was thus a complete fiasco.
