A further indication of the tense situation is seen in the Ministry of the Interior banning six Vienna newspapers. The Government will complete within a week a draft law concerning the rights of minorities, about whom it is anxious over German reactions to the latest demand for autonomy by the Polish minority, which totals 100,000. HUNGARIAN MINORITY LIST OF REQUIREMENTS PRAGUE, May 11. ' The Hungarian minority in Czechoslovakia has presented an 80poinf programme to the Government modelled on Herr Henlein’s demands. It was announced that this was only a prelude to furth-r requirements. THE POLISH MINORITY DEMANDS FOR AUTONOMY LONDON, May 12. (Received May 13, at 0.15 a.m.) The Prague correspondent of The Times says that the Polish minorty of 80,000 in Czechoslovakia, mostly in the Teschen area, and now represented in Parliament by one deputy, have joined the Sudeten Germans in demanding autonomy and the right to administer a proportion of the State revenue.
