GOLDEN JUBILEE
BISHOP OF SOUTHWARK UNUSUAL PAPAL HONOUR (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Feb. 24. (Received Feb. 25, at 5.5 p.m.) The Pope conferred an unsual honour on the Bishop of Southwark (Bishop Amigo) on the occasion of the golden jubilee of his ordination. Bishop Amigo is raised to the rank of archbishop and will bear the tithe of Archbishop of Southwark. The dignity is personal and makes no difference to jurisidiction.
