PRESENT PRICE LEVELS
TOO LOW IN AMERICA THE PRESIDENT’S OPINION WASHINGTON, Feb. 16. (Received Feb. 16, at 10 p.m.) President Roosevelt expressed the opinion that the present price levels were too low and they should make an upward movement. His remarks are assumed to refer to commodities and raw materials. The President indicated that he would enunciate the Administration’s price policy before the weekend. The belief that the Administration is advancing swiftly toward controlled deflationary action is expressed by the Washington correspondent of the New York HeraldTribune. says a New York message.
