NEW TYPE OF CYCLAMEN

STRONG, HANDSOME PLANTS (From Our Own Correspondent) (By Air Mail) LONDON, Nov. 10. The introduction of a new variety of Persian cyclamen with large selfsupporting flowers in a great variety of colours was a feature of the Royal Horticultural Society’s November show in London. These cyclamen come into flower more quickly than the old type, and should be a valuable addition to autumn gardens. While freedom of flowering and habit of growth have been greatly improved, the charming poise and upright petals of the old cyclamens persicum have been retained, and the beauty of the flowers has been increased by greater petal length.
