SHIPPING FREIGHTS
INCREASE DECIDED ON LONDON, Nov. 18. Freights between the United Kingdom and Eastern Canadian and United States ports are being increased 10 per cent, on January 1 They are also being increased to North Pacific ports. The shipping journal Fairplay expects plate chartering to be resumed on a large scale within a few months.
