Be madf a charge 'hat the business recession was due to the governmenta 1 policies. He proposed to return to the gold standard a balanced Budget, repeal of the undistributed profits tax, modification of the capital gains tax, and freeing public utilities from Government competiMr Aldrich stressed the fact that a balanced Budget was the keynote of the entire matter.
