STATE HOUSES
CONTRACTS LET IN DUNEDIN MORE LAND TO BE ACQUIRED AT WAKARI (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. Approval has been given by the Cabinet for additional housing contracts to be let in Dunedin and two further small areas of land are to be acquired at Wakari for the extension of the Government's housing scheme in that district. Contracts have been let as follows: . Five houses at Libertbn —Dunedin Amalgamated Construction Company, Ltd. Nine houses at. Liberton—Mr A. C. Anderson. . "■/ ' . Six houses, including four semidetached—Home Builders, Dunedin. Two. houses—Mr A, M. Harris. Three houses at Wakari—Mr E. H. Levido. SCHEME FOR MOSGIEL ERECTION OF TWENTY-EIGHT HOUSES;/ ; (From Our Parlumentar?. Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. Cabinet has also approved of the purchase of 11 acres of land at Mosgiel for housing purposes, and it is the department's intention to erect 28 houses in the borough. This advice was received to-day by Mi- A. Campbell, M.P., from the Under-secretary for Housing (Mr J. A. Lee). .
