NAVAL COMPETITION

ROYAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE AUCKLAND AND WELLINGTON DIVISIONS (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND. Oct. 22. For the first time in the history of the two divisions teams representing the Auckland and Wellington Divisions of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve will hold contests in gun drill, rifle shooting, boat sailing and boat Pulhng in Auckland at the week-end. The Wellington detachment, consistmg oi two officers and 25 ratings, will arrive by the Limited express in the morning and will be taken to the Achilles, where they will be accommodated during their stay. Competitions have been arranged for all the divisions of the Reserve in New Zealand, but this year it has been found impossible for teams from the South Island to make the visit.
