(Received June 20, at 6.30 p.m.) Following the reports that Farr will- contest the world title with either Braddock or Louis, a German promoter, Herr Rothenburg, announced that he has offered Farr £15,000 to meet Schmeling in a match at Berlin. BEFORE THE TITLE BOUT BRADDOCK AND LOUIS COMPLETE TRAINING NEW YORK, June 20. (Received June 20, at 7.30 p.m.) A message from Grand Beach says that James Braddock had four fast rounds with two sparring partners. It was his final hard " work-out" before the title bout. The defence and speed of the champion's hands and his foot work were impressive. His punches were shorter and sharper than in any previous " work-out." Braddock said: "I am in great shape; I feel better than I have for years. It is just another fight for me. Louis is no better than the others I have faced. A light ' workout' on Sunday will complete my training." Joe Louis sTiadow-boxed one round and then had four rounds with two negro sparring partners, who used Braddock's style. The challenger, who is in fine physical condition, appeared unworried, but he had great difficulty in avoiding the punches of his sparring partners At least six times they landed hard rights to the jaw. Louis will have his final "workout " on Sunday and will leave for Chicago on Tuesday. AUSTRALIAN SECURES MATCH BLATCH TO MEET ARMSTRONG NEW YORK, June 19. (Received June 20, at 6.30 p.m.) The Australian boxer, Alf Blatch, has been matched against Henry Armstrong, of California. The bout will take place at Madison Square Garden on July 1. OPPONENTS FOR CARROLL NEW YORK,'June 19. (Received June 20, at 7.30 p.m.) Mr Lucas said he had signed up two welter-weight boxers to fight Jack Carroll in Sydney next winter.
