HEAVY-WEIGHT BOXING

THE BRADDOCK-LOUIS FIGHT RADICAL . CHANGE IN RULES t CHICAGO, June 16. (Received June 17, at 8 p.m.) The State Boxing Commission has adopted a radical change in the sooalled 10-second rule for the Brad-dock-Louis fight. A fighter, formerly whether knocked down inside or outside the ring, had 10 seconds in which to regain a fighting posture, but under the change he will have 20 seconds to regain a fighting posture unassisted within the ring in the event of being knocked or falling out of the ring. Other changes in the rules were made to prevent the famous long count which marred the Dempsey-Tunney fight in 1927. A special ring will also be used, measuring 22ft square within the ropes. Braddock and Louis did not train to-day.
