PROFESSIONAL BOXING

TWO BOUTS IN AUCKLAND

(Pek United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17

Before 2000 spectators in the Town Hall to-night Neville Mudgway (Auckland) outpointed Tiger Parks (the American negro) in a ten-round professional boxing contest Parks led for the first four rounds, but from then on Mudgway paid attention to the body and wore his man down. It was a bout marked by boxing as distinguished from fighting. In the second ten rounds professional contest Henry Dunn (9.6) outpointed Stan Smith (9.12). Smith did all the leading, but Dunn's science won him the casting vote of the referee.
