MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
EDIEVALE CLUB A “ Coronation Handicap Trophy Match ” was fired by the Edievale Defence Rifle Club on Saturday last. A moderate attendance of members being present. Conditions of the shoot were: Seven shots with two optional sighters over 300, 500. and 600 yards; weather conditions were satisfactory, with the result that some outstanding scores were registered, particularly so by Rifleman J. Adams, who registered the possible at 500 yards. He came out with a total of 99 points over all ranges. At the conclusion of the shoot, the successful competitors were Rifleman L. Adam first, with a total score of 100 points. Rifleman D. Morton 100 points and J. Adams (99 points) being second and third respectively. The following are the total scores with handicaps added: —Riflemen L. Adam 100, D. Morton 100, J. Adam 99. B. Simons 99, L. Jenkins 97, G. Finlayson 96, Deputy President P. Finlayson 95, Riflemen M. Kempthorne 94, A. W. Sim 91, L. White 91, J. Wilson 87, J. Lee 86.
