THE JAPANESE CABINET
RESIGNATION DEMANDED OPPOSITION MANIFESTO TOKIO, May 28. The Tokio correspondent of The Times says the Minseito and Seiyukau parties have opened an antiCabinet campaign, issuing a joint manifesto demanding its resignation, and declaring that Cabinet was an obstacle to national unity, and hindered the execution of emergency policies. This manifesto, angling for the army's support, unequivocally accepts its doctrine in national emergency. General Hayashi still professes his determination to meet the Diet and test its attitude.
