Won by a length, with three-quarters of a length between second and third Time, lmin 27sec. Odilion was third in the Granville Stakes, Philight was unplaced in the Juvenile Second Division, The Raider was unplaced in the Rosehill Handicap, and Silver Coat fell in the Maiden Hurdle Handicap. MOONEE VALLEY MEETING (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyrighti MELBOURNE, May 30 (Received May 30, at 8 p.m.) At the Moonee Valley races Triteleia, who is engaged in the Grand National with 10.3. won his fourth hurdle race in succession when he narrowly won the Federal Hurdle Handicap. Last year's Grand National Steeplechase winner. Santa Casa. won the Commonwealth Steeplechase in brilliant style. Following are the results:— FEDERAL HURDLE HANDICAP TRITELEIA, 10.12 (Maher) ... 1 DEVONBROOK. 9.8 (Fullarton) .. 2 MARSHLAND. 10.1 (Regan) . ..3 Eight started. Won by a neck, with three lengths between second and third Time 3min 54sec. COMMONWEALTH STEEPLECHASE. SANTA CASA, 11.7 (Ramsden) . 1 CHARACTER. 9.13 (Douglas) 2 MONTARGIS. 9.12 (M'Mahon) 3 Fourteen started Won by six lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time. 4min 48^sec.
