The Hawke's Bay Rivers Board invites Tenders up till 5 p.m. on FRIDAY, the 2nd DAY OF JULY, 1937, for the CONSTRUCTION OF LEVEES on both sides of the Ngaruroro River and of the overflow therefrom, the quantity of material being approximately 500,000 cubic yards. Tenders must be on forms supplied by the Board, and must be accompanied by a deposit as provided in the Conditions. Lowest or any Tender not necessarily accepted. l Plans, Specifications, and Conditions may be inspected at the Public Works Offices at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and at the Board's Offices, Napier. Copies may be obtained from the Board on prepavment of a fee of Five Pounds (£5). Each Tender must be forwarded in a sealed envelope marked on the outside " Tender for Ngaruroro Levees."
