Officers for the ensuing year were appointed as follows: President, Mrs Knarston; vice-presi-dents —Mesdames A. Anderson, A. Bell, and W. Willocks, and Miss Allison; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Crawford King; committee —Mesdames Holgate, G. Brown, Lory, and Throp; Advisory Committee—President, secretary, and Mrs J. C. Anderson; social hostesses, Mrs R. D. Willocks, Miss V. Jack; presscorrepondent, Mrs Macfarlane; auditor. Mrs J. Woods. ¥ * * At the annual meeting of the Tokarahi branch Mrs G. L. Grant (president) occupied the chair. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—President. Mrs F. Duthie; secretary, Mrs J. Simpson; vice-presidents Mesdames G. L. The following were the winners for most points in the various competitions held during the year:—Miss M. Wilson 1, Mesdames 'l. L. Grant, J. More, A. M’Kenzie and R. Ruddenklau and Miss E. Henderson (equal) 2. Most points in cut flower competitions: Miss E. Henderson 1, Miss D. Meikle 2. The competitions for that day were won as follows:—Cut flowers: Mrs M’Cone 1, Miss M’Kenzie 2. Baking: Mrs A. M’Kenzie 1, Mrs Wilson 2. Mesdames J. Simpson and Waddell gave a demonstration on the making of cushions, and the hostesses were Mesdames M’Kenzie. Finlayson, Dunn and Stephenson.
