MILTON DANCE
The promoters of the Main Town Hall dance, Dunedin, organised a successful dance In the Coronation Hall, Milton, when 400 dancers graced the floor. During the evening items on the piano-accordion were rendered by Mr Ted Heaney, and Mr James MacFarlane, on insistent demands, obliged with vocal solos, both numbers being encored. Carnival novelties were given out during the evening, and the crowd joined in the happy gaiety thereby created. Among those present were:— Mesdames N. M‘Elrea, wearing silk velvet: B. Wright, black velvet and white taffeta; P. M'Coskery, black and red georgette; Lil. Goss, silk velvet; Molly Porter, red striped taffeta; Jean Paterson, red rilly crepe; H. Morgan, red crepe, Cathie Lough, blue crepple crepe; Z. Morris, blue and silver lame; Phyllis Hood, matalasse silk; M. Sawers, red marocain; Alice Kavanagh, black georgette; Elsie Millar, floral georgette; Betty Hansen, red velvet and silver; Fay M’Kenzie, black velvet and silver; Ethel Symon, pink net over taffeta: M;.
