MR ANTHONY EDEN
HOLIDAY AT THE RIVIERA (Bntisli Official Wireless) RUGBY, Feb. 7. (Received Feb. 8, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Anthony Eden is not staying in Paris on his way to the Riviera, and no arrangements have been made for him to meet French statesmen. Mr Eden has only had one short holiday since he became Foreign Secretary, and has therefore taken opportunity of what appears likely to be a dull period in international affairs to secure a fortnight’s rest and recreation. ARRIVAL AT MONTE CARLO MONTE CARLO, Feb. 7. (Received Feb. 8, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Eden arrived and conferred for half an hour with Colonel Beck.
