CONTROL OF TRAFFIC
UNIFORMITY DESIRED MINISTER TO CONSULT LOCAL BODIES (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 4. In a statement to-day the Minister of Transport (Mr R. Semple) indi cated that he will be meeting local bodies in the Auckland, Wellington,, Christchurch and Dunedin areas with a view to the establishment of a unified system of traffic control in each of these metropolitan districts. He is confident that this will result in better traffic conditions and will be a big step in the direction of coping with the road accident problem
