"A SPECIAL RECEIVER"
WIRELESS INSTALLATION IN GERMAN EMBASSY LONDON, Feb. 3. (Received Feb. 4, at 0.30 a.m.) The German Embassy explains that it is not installing a transmitter but " a very special receiver," because the Admiralty wireless nearby makes it most difficult to get Berlin on an ordinary receiver. The staff complains that parts of Herr Hitler's speech could not be heard, owing to the Admiralty jamming it.
