MR WALTER MONCKTON
KNIGHTED BY THE KING LONDON, Feb. 2. The first subject knighted by the King is Mr Walter Monckton, the Duke of Windsor's counsel in the momentous days before his abdication. Mr Monckton was specially summoned to the palace to be accoladed.
