THE DUNDAS STREET BRIDGE

in WF EDITOR

Sir.—" Safety First," in your issue two days ago, refers to the Dundas street bridge as an apology for one and says that it is the worst in the South Island. He should have included the North Island, too, for, in view of the amount of traffic it carries and in view also of the fact that it is situated in the city, it is a disgrace and a menace. Of course. Clyde street and Harbour terrace should be attended to

first as during very wet weather there are some water puddles. Then when an accident happens at the Dundas street bridge it can receive attention. Until then let all the available labour keep on removing guns and chippins erass from the gutters.—l am, etc., Parent. Dundas street, December 3.
