DISASTER IN JAPAN A HUGE DEATH ROLL (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) TOKIO, Nov. 20. At least 300 people were killed when the banks of the reservoir above the Osarusawa copper mine at Akita collapsed. Many miners' houses were washed away. The dam, which was 700 feet long and 200 feet high, burst owing to heavy rain and overwhelmed six villages and 1300 inhabitants, who were swept amid the debris of their houses into the Dishirogawa River, from which 250 bodies have been recovered.
