WEDDING

Froudfoot—Ward A quiet wedding was solemnised at First Ghurch on Monday morning, when Beulah, the third youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs N. J. Ward, of Palmerston, was joined in the bonds of holy matrimony to Gordon Menzies, the youngest son of Mr and Mrs W. Proudfoot, of Balclutha. The bride was attended by her sister Grace as bridesmaid, together with Mr George Proudfoot, brother of the bridegroom', to whom fell the duties of best man. The service was conducted by the Rev. A. Stevely. and afterwards, at the conclusion of a small reception, the newly-married couple left by car for the north. The bride looked charming in a navy blue and white ensemble with accessories to tone. The future home of Mr and 'Mrs Proudfoot is to be at Warrington.
