ASSOCIATED MOTORISTS’ PETROL COMPANY
RIGHTS OF PREFERENCE SHAREHOLDERS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. The result of the ■ postal ballot of preference shareholders of the Associated Motorists’ Petrol Company. Ltd., on the resolution to alter the rights of the preference shareholders by increasing the rate of the preference dividend to 10 per cent, and cancelling the special rights relating to the purchase of petrol, was announced to-day by the chairman of directors, Mr Charles Todd. Mr Todd said that of 86,825 votes cast, 80,817 were in favour of the resolution and 2418 against it. The invalid votes numbered 3590. The proposal was therefore carried.
