FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of- Court Enterprise was held on Tuesda y last, C.R. Bro. H. Hogg presiding;; All officers were present. The wood wards’ report on the sick members wasi again very satisfactory. During thi; last fortnight two of the old members had died—Bro. Barclay, of Wellington! and Bro. Sutherland, of Caversham. ‘ An invitation was received from Gtourt King Edward’s Pride for the eachre gnd cribbage tournaments to be 1 ield on October 22. The following brotl ;ers were selected for the team;—Bj'os. Cooper, J. Dey, sen., J. Dey, jun., Bt ettell, E. Johnson, J. Hamilton, J Beni ell A letter was also read from the Hea'th Stamp Campaign director, and t|he court gave a sum from the Benevolent Fund. Three funeral claims w'l’.s passed for payment. P.C.R. Bro. V>. Mercer installed Bro. f Cooper into has office as J.W. Bro. Cooper returned thanks. Four propositions were received for next court meeting. The new syllabus for next year was discussed and further discussion was held i over till next meeting. It was also * decided to have the late Bro. Paul » Williams's photograph placed in the • book.
