DOMESTIC DISPUTE
CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER MAORI REMANDED ON BAIL (Per United Press Association) WANGANUI, Oct. 6. As the result of what is alleged to have been a domestic dispute between two brothers and the wife of one, Matthew Hill, aged 31, a Maori, was charged with attempting to murder Alice Hill and was remanded to October 14, bail being given self in £2OO and two sureties of £2OO. It is alleged that a rifle was fired in the house. The bullet penetrated the door and went out through the roof, and no one was injured.
